Use
Use lets you activate usable items from your inventory. Depending on the item, it can heal you, grant XP/aura, revive you, apply protections, play a sound in voice chat, toggle a role, or even summon a boss event.
How It Works
Use checks the item you typed, verifies you actually own it, then runs the correct behavior based on that item’s settings.
✧ Some items can be used in bulk (use multiple at once)
✧ Some items have special behavior and ignore bulk amounts (like sounds / roles / boss summons)
✧ Most uses require confirmation before anything is consumed
Input Rules
Use supports a couple of optional endings after the item name:
✧ If the last word is a number, it is treated as an amount
✧ If the last word matches a voice channel keyword, it is treated as a voice channel target (for sound items)
Supported voice targets:
✧ general
✧ movie / movie night / movie-night
Requirements & Restrictions
To use an item:
✧ You must own it
✧ The item must be marked usable
✧ If the item has a minimum level, you must meet it or you get kicked with a level block message
✧ If you are Dead, you can only use revive-type items (or items flagged to revive)
Normal Usable Items
These are the standard “consume and apply effects” items. When confirmed:
✧ The item is consumed (or multiple are consumed if you used an amount)
✧ Effects apply to you (heal, XP, aura, attack boosts, revive, etc.)
✧ Your Use counter increases (used for achievements/stats)
✧ The result message shows effects + how many you have left
Protection Items
Some usable items grant protections (defensive buffs that block specific incoming items).
✧ Protections can have a duration (they expire)
✧ Reverse UNO Card is special: it stays active until it reflects a throw, and does not expire
Role Toggle Items
If an item is configured with a role ID, using it toggles that role on you:
✧ If you don’t have the role, it gets added
✧ If you already have it, it gets removed
✧ These items do not consume from your inventory
✧ If the role no longer exists or the bot lacks permissions, the toggle fails gracefully
Sound Items
If an item has a sound file attached, using it will:
✧ Consume 1× of the item
✧ Queue the sound to be played in voice chat
✧ The bot connects to the target VC (and stays connected)
✧ You can optionally target a VC name (general / movie night)
Boss Summon Items
Some usable items can summon a boss event. When used:
✧ The item consumes **1×**
✧ A boss lobby is created and posted in the channel
Confirmation & Safety Checks
For normal usable items, you must confirm first. After confirmation, the bot re-checks your inventory before consuming to prevent weird race conditions (like you losing the item mid-flow).
Gift
