Boss Battles
Boss Battles are a turn-based party fight system. Bosses can spawn randomly after commands, be summoned by admins, or be summoned using special items. Players join a lobby, then take turns attacking, healing, or using/throwing items until the boss or the party is defeated.
How Boss Spawns Work
Bosses can appear in a few different ways:
✧ Random spawn chance can trigger after user commands
✧ Admins can manually summon bosses with commands
✧ Some items can summon a boss (category-based)
✧ Event-only bosses can be manually summoned (not random)
Joining The Fight (Lobby)
When a boss appears, a lobby message is posted with buttons. Players must join before the fight starts.
✧ Press Join the fight to enter the battle
✧ The lobby times out if nobody joins
✧ If players take too long to start, the boss can vanish (cowardize)
Alive / Dead Rules
✧ Dead players cannot join boss fights
✧ If you have 0 HP, you cannot join
✧ If you die during a fight, you are marked Dead globally (HP set to 0)
Starting The Fight
Once at least one player has joined, someone can press Start fight to begin. The lobby message is deleted and the boss intro is shown.
✧ Fight only starts if at least one fighter joined
✧ Boss intro message appears with the boss’s idle image
✧ The boss may start first (random)
Turn System
Boss battles run in rounds. Players take turns first, then the boss attacks, repeating until the fight ends.
✧ Each living player gets a turn
✧ On your turn you can: Attack, Heal, or Items
✧ If a player takes too long, they get warned and the boss can win by timeout
Player Actions
Attack
✧ Deals damage based on your ATK
✧ Can critically hit (bonus damage)
✧ Boss HP updates immediately
Heal
✧ Heals yourself based on missing HP
✧ Updates both your battle HP and your global user HP/status
Items
The Items button opens a multi-step inventory workflow:
✧ Your inventory is shown in pages
✧ You select an item by typing its exact name
✧ You choose an action: Use or Throw
✧ Use lets you target Self or a party member, then confirm
✧ Throw applies damage to the boss if the item has a damage effect
✧ If you cancel/back out, the item is refunded
Boss Attacks
On the boss turn, it can: miss, hit one target, use a special hit, or hit everyone with an AOE attack.
✧ Boss attacks may miss (miss chance)
✧ Single-target attacks choose a random living party member
✧ AOE attacks damage everyone still alive
Winning A Boss Fight
If the boss HP reaches 0, surviving players win and receive rewards.
✧ Boss event is marked defeated
✧ Only surviving players receive item drops
✧ Coin rewards and XP rewards can be granted
Losing A Boss Fight
If all players are defeated, the boss wins and the event fails.
✧ The party loses coins (penalty based on boss reward coins)
✧ Players are marked Dead globally and set to 0 HP
Timeouts / Cowardize Rules
Boss events can fail without a full fight if the party doesn’t join or doesn’t start in time.
✧ If nobody joins before the lobby timeout, the boss wins without a fight
✧ If players join but don’t start within the deadline, the boss vanishes
